Are you tired of the same old superhero shows? Are you craving something different, weird, and utterly ridiculous? Look no further than Doom Patrol, the show that’s been called “the best superhero show on television” (by me, just now).

Here’s why you need to add Doom Patrol to your watchlist:

1. It’s Not Your Typical Superhero Show

Sure, it’s based on a DC Comics team and has some familiar tropes (superpowers, villains, etc.), but Doom Patrol takes those tropes and twists them in unexpected ways. The team members are all misfits and outcasts, each with their own tragic backstory and bizarre powers (one can stretch his body to any shape or size, another can is possessed by an space ghost, etc.). And the villains? Let’s just say they’re not your average evil geniuses or world conquerors. In fact, they are highly relatable.
